Surviving Emotional Trauma in Law Enforcement and First Responders: 
Creative Tools for Emotional Survival and Resiliency


As first responders, you pay an emotional price for doing the work that you do. You hear and respond to stressful and traumatic events on a daily basis. Resiliency is the process of bulletproofing your personal and professional life throughout your career.

This training will provide you with hands-on tools for surviving emotional trauma before, during, and after traumatic events.

  • Compassion fatigue, posttraumatic stress injury, vicarious trauma and burnout effects
  • Symptom recognition
  • Hands-on tools and strategies for building resiliency prior to, during, and after experiencing trauma
